Newsletter: Term 2, Week 2
From the Co-Principals' Desk:
As our time here at Creswick draws to a close, we would like to take a moment to express our gratitude for the warm welcome and support we have received from the St. Augustine's community. It has been a pleasure to work with your children and to witness their enthusiasm for learning.
Shaun and I have been impressed by the involvement of families in the life of the school. It is evident that everyone is committed to providing the best possible education for the students and ensure the community thrives.
We are grateful for the opportunities we have had to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and students during this term. The positive and supportive atmosphere has made our transition to commence the 2023 school year at St. Augustine's seamless.
We take this opportunity to wish the community of St. Augustine's every success for the future and we will be sure to keep in touch as the year progresses.
Mother’s and Special Women Liturgy and Morning Tea:
On Friday 12th May, we invite mother’s and special women to a liturgy and morning tea. Please refer to the flyer included in this week’s newsletter for more details.
The next sacrament cycle (Confirmation) commences this Sunday with the presentation of students to the Parish community (enrolment mass) at 9am, with preparation sessions starting this Tuesday at 5:30pm. This is open to students in Years 3,4,5,6 who are baptised Catholic.
The process for a selection of a new Principal for St Augustine’s is well underway and interviews have taken place. Depending on who is appointed to the role and their current obligations there may be a short transition period prior to starting. Once we have more details we will communicate these with the community.
